You can attach a TEAMserver TM to a project during project creation, with the Create a New Project wizard, or you can attach a TEAMserver TM to a project that has already been created.

During project creation

If you create a new project, you will be using the Create a New Project wizard. This is explained here. To attach a TEAMserver TM instead of a local TM:

1. Continue the Wizard until you get to the Specify a Translation Memory page:
   
2. Click Add Server TM....
3. The TEAMserver Login dialog appears.
   
4. Enter the following information:
   • Server URL: this is specific to the TEAMserver you wish to connect to and must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver.
   • User: this must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver you wish to connect to. You must have an account in the TEAMserver to be able to connect to it with DVX3.
   • Password: this must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver you wish to connect to.
   • Optionally, you can check the box labeled Remember Password to avoid having to type your password every time you want to use this TEAMserver.
5. Click OK.
6. If all goes well, the TEAMserver TM will be added to the list of TMs attached to the project.
7. If DVX3 is unable to connect to the TEAMserver for any reason, it will show you a message to that effect. Show this message to your TEAMserver's administrator or to ATRIL Support for help.

In an existing project

To attach a TEAMserver TM to a project that already exists:

1. Open the Project Properties dialog.
2. Select the Translation Memories tab.
   
3. In the Target language box, select the language you want to use the TEAMserver TM with. You can select All Languages from that list; if you do, DVX3 will show you this warning:
   
   Click Yes to continue.
4. Click Add Server TM....
5. Click Add Server TM....
6. The TEAMserver Login dialog appears.
   
7. Enter the following information:
   • Server URL: this is specific to the TEAMserver you wish to connect to and must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver.
   • User: this must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver you wish to connect to. You must have an account in the TEAMserver to be able to connect to it with DVX3.
   • Password: this must be provided by the owners of the TEAMserver you wish to connect to.
   • Optionally, you can check the box labeled Remember Password to avoid having to type your password every time you want to use this TEAMserver.
8. Click OK.
9. If all goes well, the TEAMserver TM will be added to the list of TMs attached to the project.
10. If DVX3 is unable to connect to the TEAMserver for any reason, it will show you a message to that effect. Show this message to your TEAMserver's administrator or to ATRIL Support for help.
