List of language and sublanguage codes

What are language codes

When you are using it, Déjà Vu always shows you the names of the languages (and sub-languages) you are working. However, internally, Déjà Vu uses language codes to identify each language or sub-language, rather than names. If you want to use some of the more advanced, and more powerful, features of Déjà Vu, you must know these language codes too.

The following tables provide you with a list of decimal codes for the languages and sub-languages used in Déjà Vu. These codes are not, themselves, the language codes used by déjà Vu, but you can use them to find the language code for any language supported by Déjà Vu by using the following formula:

(Sublanguage * 1024) + Language

So if, for example, you wanted to know the language code Standard Spanish, you would look for the decimal code for the Spanish language, which is 10, and the decimal code for the "Spanish Standard" sub-language, which is 1. Put those into the formula shown above, and you get:

(1 * 1024) + 10 = 1034
