Auto Correct - Spelling function

There is an auto correct function that works by replacing certain words or abbreviations you type as you type them. This can be used to save you typing by expanding abbreviations, or to correct common typos as you make them

You can activate it and configure it by accessing the menu option Tools>Options>Auto Correct.

In versions of Déjà Vu older than Déjà Vu X3, the spell checking function does not work as you type, the way it does in Word. You can invoke a spell check manually:

• Access the menu option Tools>Spelling.
• Or press the key F7.

You can change the spell checker settings by accessing Tools>Options>Spelling.
