How to disable exclamation marks on inconsistencies

If you find that Déjà Vu often inappropriately marks segments as having inconsistent terminology (which can happen in some situations, e.g. if the text being translated contains inflected forms of terms that exist in the Termbase), or if you simply do not wish Déjà Vu to check for consistent use of terminology, you can disable AutoCheck.

Click on the version of Déjà Vu that you are using to find out how to do so:

Déjà Vu X2 Déjà Vu X3

  • Click on the Autocheck button in Déjà Vu X2's status bar.
  • Or access the menu option Tools>Options>Environment and uncheck the option AutoCheck.
  • Click on the Autocheck button in Déjà Vu X3's status bar.
  • Or access the menu option File>Options, then in the Options dialog select the General tab and uncheck the option AutoCheck.

Terminology checks can still be invoked manually even if AutoCheck is disabled.
