Sometimes, when you attempt to import a document that uses an XML based format (e.g. XLIFF, DOCX, etc.), you may see the following error message:
If you close this window, Déjà Vu will continue, but it will import very little text, if any.
This happens because the file contains a character that is not allowed by the XML standard. The XML standard requires that all software that supports XML reject any XML documents that violate the standard in any way (e.g. by having characters that are not allowed). Since Déjà Vu is XML compliant, it will not continue processing a file that contains an XML error.
