Déjà Vu X3 now allows you to mark the project's segments in three different ways: Translated, Proofread and Approved. These new segments statuses make it easier to proofread and perform QA checks on the project by allowing translators, proofreaders and project managers to know what level of scrutiny has been applied to each segment at a glance, as each of these statuses is denoted by a specific color.
You can specify what segment status you want to apply by default directly from the main user interface; this, the appropriate segment status will be applied when you finish a segment by pressing the keys Ctrl+↓.
You can also apply a specific segment status to a selected segment by using the appropriate key combination:
Keyboard shortcut | Function |
Ctrl+Shift+T | Translated |
Ctrl+Shift+R | Proofread |
Ctrl+Shift+V | Approved |
Thus, you can set Translated as the default validation mode (triggered when using Ctrl+↓) and still mark a segment as Approved using the dedicated shortcut.
