Déjà Vu comes with its own spell-checker that supports many languages. For languages that it does not support out of the box (and even for supported languages, if you wish), Déjà Vu also has the ability to use the spell-checkers that come with Microsoft Office (if there is a copy installed). You can specify which of the available spell checkers you want Déjà Vu to use to spell check text in a particular language easily.

You can configure the spell-checker settings for any of the supported languages by accessing the menu option Tools>Options and then selecting the Spelling tab. There, you will see a drop-down box that you can use to select the language whose spelling settings you want to change, and the available options for the currently selected language.

You can check or uncheck the option Use the Microsoft Office Spell Checker. There is also a button in this window labelled Reload Office Proofing Tools. Pressing this button causes Déjà Vu X2 to check the spell checkers installed with Office again. This is useful if you have installed new spell checkers for Office, or if you have changed their configuration in Office, and you want these changes to be detected by Déjà Vu X2.
Bear in mind that if you decide to use a spell checker provided by Office, Déjà Vu X2 will not give you any more options. The configuration of Office's spell checkers must be done within Office. Déjà Vu X2 just uses them as they are.
