- Unplug the USB dongle.
- Go to Start Menu>Run (or press the key combination
+R) and type:
"C:\Program Files\ATRIL\Deja Vu X\Dongle\setupdrv.exe" /u
(make sure the /u is outside the quotes).
- Go to Start Menu>Run (or press the key combination
+R) and type:
"C:\Program Files\ATRIL\Deja Vu X\Dongle\setupdrv.exe"

- Shut down.
- Reconnect the dongle and restart.
- The Windows Found New Hardware wizard should appear. Follow it, making sure to tell it to use the default location when searching for the drivers, and ignoring (i.e. accepting) any warnings about the drivers not being signed.
- Try Déjà Vu X.

- Unplug the dongle from the computer.
- Uninstall the current dongle drivers by executing this command on Windows start button >> Run... (or press the key combination
+R):
"C:\Program files\ATRIL\Deja Vu X\Dongle\setupdrv.exe" /u
- Unzip all the files into the folder C:\Program files\ATRIL\Deja Vu X\Dongle\, overwriting if necessary.
- Execute this command on Windows start button >> Run... (or press the key combination
+R:
"C:\Program files\ATRIL\Deja Vu X\Dongle\setupdrv.exe" /par
- Shut down the computer.
- Plug the dongle into the computer.
- Restart your computer.
