Sometimes, upon starting Déjà Vu, you get an error message like this:

DejaVuX3.cRegistry.EnumerateValues Line: 750
10005: Access Violation

There are 2 known causes for this error message. The following sections will explain how to fix them:

Compatibility settings for the Déjà vu X3 executable are incorrect

To set the Compatibility options:

  1. Right click on the Déjà vu X3 executable file (usually in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\ATRIL\Deja Vu X3):
  2. Click on Properties.
  3. Select the Compatibility tab.
  4. Configure the options to match what is shown here:
  5. Click OK.

Some files, components or registry entries used by Déjà Vu have been corrupted

The following procedures will ensure that Déjà Vu and all its components are correct:

  1. Uninstall Déjà Vu completely
  2. Delete any Déjà Vu related keys from the registry
  3. Run the System File checker
  4. Reinstall the Jet Engine
  5. Reinstall the VB6 run-time
  6. Install Déjà Vu again.
